My Story

Craig and I didn't think we could come back to you so soon after the cycle for sponsorship on BIG SLEEP OUT 4.

But we still want to sleep out at Plough Lane on 9th November and raise loads for those who desperately need our support. 

Instead of sponsorship we are asking you to support our Big Sleep Out 4 Homeless Emergency Pack Collection. 

Show your love and support for our homessthis winter - for every £5 we receive in sponsorship, DLAG will provide an emergency pack to a homeless person to bring a little comfort to those without a roof over their heads this winter. 

Each pack will contain essential items such as hats, gloves, socks, pants, deodorant, snacks and, where possible, coats, sleeping bags and power packs. They will be distributed through our homeless charity partners including the brilliant Faith in Action. 

Dons Local Action Group is local network of volunteers initially formed in response to the COVID-19 crisis and now permanent across Merton, Wandsworth and Kingston. 

We aim to help those in our local community to fight poverty and offer support. We provide food parcels, household goods, furniture and appliances. We also offer laptops through our Keep Kids Connected initiative for children who do not have access to online learning.

We rely entirely on voluntary funding to sustain this essential support for our community. Please help us continue to help these who need us most.
